Phoenix Fun Camp:

Our Phoenix Fun camps are designed for students ages 4 and older. The themed camps concentrate on daily gymnastics and circus training. Students will have fun learning new skills while increasing self-confidence, body awareness and coordination. We will utilize all areas of Phoenix academy, including the dance studio, as well as both the upstairs and downstairs gyms. Campers will learn new gymnastics skills on bars, beam, floor, vault, foam pit and tumble track; as well as explore different circus apparatus each day including trapeze, lyra, hammock, object manipulation and tumbling. Campers will enjoy themed crafts and outdoor games daily. Friday is water day, and weather permitting, campers will enjoy outdoor water activities such as water balloons, sprinklers, and snow cones!

Circus Training Camp:

The circus arts are an exciting hybrid of art and sport. In this camp you'll dive into the basics of a multitude of circus disciplines, including aerial apparatus (including lyra and straps), tumbling acrobatics, object manipulation and balancing. The circus arts have been proven to improve physical fitness, build strength, and create community. No experience is necessary to participate, and all skills can be modified for different levels of fitness. A minimum age of 9 is required for this camp.

Gymnastics Training Camp:

Gymnastics Training Camp is for students 9 and older, with or without gymnastics experience, to learn an array of gymnastics skills. Rotations on all events: bars, beam, floor, vault, and trampoline will be utilized during practice. This training camp allows new gymnasts to explore the sport and returning gymnasts to work on current skills in a fun and safe environment!

Circus Intensive Camp:

Students, with a minimum age of 9 and a mastery of the basic circus arts skills, will be working to take their training to the next level. Strength, Agility, Flexibility and Endurance will be key to progressing skill growth. Students will learn how to make a combination on an apparatus of their choice. Focus will be on form, clean movement, and concentration, as well as learning the creation process to build an act. *Required skill prerequisites for this camp. Please contact the office with questions about qualifications.

Gymnastics Team Camp:

This camp is for all Phoenix Academy Pre-Team Sparklers and Firecracker students and USAIGC Team members. This camp will focus on personal skill growth to carry forward to the upcoming competition season.
